This project is an addition to an existing park formerly known as Northeast Regional Park. The former empty lot adjoining the existing park along with revisions to the existing park and adjoining Redstone Park will encompass the scope of the Joey Barraza and Vino Memorial Park Phase 2 Improvements.The Base Bid items include but are not limited to mobilization and demobilization, traffic control, construction signage, SWPPP, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, storm drainage, minor demolition, electrical, plumbing, sports lighting for a championship field, conduit for all lighting and security cameras, an asphalt parking lot extension, new fencing, gates, sod, rock mulch, 4” and 6” thick concrete sidewalks and plazas, rock walls, chain link fencing and gates, new and relocation of wrought iron fencing and gates, a new pre-fabricated bridge, rubber and concrete speed tables, signage, bleachers, distance markers, a flag pole, pre-fabricated buildings for irrigation and electric controls, trees, shrubs, installation of 2 new 4” water meters and irrigation systems and improvements to Rick Husband Drive, the existing skate park and minor modifications to the existing baseball field fencing. Contractor will be responsible for any meter installation and connection charges and coordination with utility companies and will provide and install electrical and plumbing including connections (both coordination and installation) as indicated on Contract Documents including electrical and plumbing for items installed by OTHERS (except the Restroom and Office/Maintenance pre-fabricated buildings). For the Restroom and Office/Maintenance prefabricated buildings, Contractor will be required to provide utilities and walkways to 5 feet from the pre-fabricated building edge to City connections or other paved surfaces as indicated on the Contract Documents. Utilities and slabs for the pre-fabricated Office/Maintenance Building and 4 stall restroom will be provided and installed BY OTHERS which will be inclusive of the building and up to 5 feet away from the building edge. Contractor will not be responsible to provide amenities or make connections to new pre-fabricated building utilities, these will be performed by another contractor. Contractor will be responsible for any meter installation and connection charges and coordination with utility companies. Q&A due by 05/15/19. Bonds required.Prevailing wages.
