The principal features of the work to be performed under this Contract include the installation of approximately 1,030 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron pipe sanitary sewer main. Work includes: lining approximately 845 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer pipe with cured in place pipe (CIPP); installation of eleven (11) precast concrete sewer manholes and two (2) outside drop manhole connections; installation of 135 linear feet of 16-inch diameter steel casing by open cut; bypass pumping; abandonment of three (3) manholes and 345 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer main; reconnecting existing sewer laterals to the new main; curb and gutter and sidewalk replacement; asphalt pavement replacement and resurfacing; site restoration; and all related appurtenances as shown on the drawings or specified in the contract documents.
