The main project is the reconstruction of an existing timber walkway to the Seabird Sanctuary. In order to obtain ADA compliance the existing walkway will need to be lengthened by adding additional switchbacks . Depending on design some units of the existing substructure footprint maybe reused if possible. The walkway shall be designed to minimize impact to the existing vegetation as much as practicable. The contractor shall include adding an ADA compliant parking space to the existing parking lot in the site plan and construction documents.
