Remove existing roofing materials and dispose of materials as required by law and regulations in a proper manner. Inspect the existing deck system for signs of damage. Dry-in with an underlayment for metal roofs such as Titanium UDL or an approved equal product. Install a new 5-V metal roof system using 26ga. Steel panels secured to the deck using screws with sealing washers. Install flexible flashing “boots” at all plumbing vent pipes. Custom fabricate and install a stainless steel “header” flashing to complete with soldered corners above skylights, chimneys and similar objects when multiple seams are disrupted. All required equipment, scaffolding, hoisting devices and all safety. Clean up roofing related debris will be daily with a thorough construction clean up after completion installation of a metal roof. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
