The work generally consists of the Construction of the following: (i) The expansion of the Solids Mechanical Dewatering System improvements including construction or modification of a flow splitter box, new gravity thickener, rehabilitation of the existing gravity thickener, modifications to the existing sludge wasting pump station, sludge holding tank, centrifuge feed pump station, centrifuge building, remodeling of the existing centrifuge building, relocation of the existing centrifuge, new centrifuge, new screw and belt conveyors, polymer feed systems, and utility water pump station.(ii) Construction of improvements to the San Dieguito Reservoir Dam improvements include walkways and guardrails improvements, repairs of concrete cracks and spalls on the dam downstream surface, and blasting and recoating of the anchor steel plates.
