Floyd County is requesting quotes for the renovation of Meeting Rooms in the Sara Hightower Regional Library located in Rome, Ga. The meeting space is approximately 3200 s.f.. Work requested would include: Removing old wall covering on 8 walls. Prep and paint all walls. Install new carpet tile throughout (carpet and glue will be supplied by the County). Remove existing ceiling tile. Install new track to convert to 2x2 type tile. Remove existing can lights and replace with LED 2x2 fixtures. All new fixtures will be attached to a dimming wall switch. Install 2 floor plugs in each small meeting room and 6 floor plugs in large meeting room (each room’s floor plugs will need dedicated circuit). Remove 6x8 automatic sliding door. Replace with store front frame and glass to match existing. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid.
