Mill, Inlay & other Surface Treatments at Various Locations Throughout Region 10. The contractor shall be responsible for field verifying all elevations and dimensions to ensure that the final layout of sidewalks and curb ramps meet ADA requirements prior to pouring concrete or placing asphalt or paves The Contractor shall maintain pedestrian and bicycle traffic through or around the contract site for the duration of construction unless waived by the Engineer. Where pedestrian traffic must be relocated or rerouted off the existing facility, walkways shall be clearly marked and have a logical start and terminus. All walk surfaces and grades shall be in compliance with current ADA and NYS DOT standards. The survey works necessary to meet these requirements shall be included in the cost of item 625.01 – Survey Operations. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
