The Scope of Work relates to the following Project: 2020 SPLOST Milling and Resurfacing of Various Streets in Commission Districts 1 & 2 for Clayton County, Georgia. This project will consist of the following: Pavement milling and patching. Overlaying the existing pavement and replacement of existing pavement markings. The successful Bidder shall give a Contract Bid Bond, Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, post a Bid Bond of five percent (5%) of the bid price, a Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price and a Performance Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price, for the use of all persons doing work or furnishing skills, tools, machinery, or materials under or for the purpose of the resulting Contract, in accordance with the applicable provisions of Georgia state law, including but not limited to O.C.G.A. § 13-10-1 and § 36-91-21 et seq. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
