Lab Renovation: Build a stem cell research lab and adjacent tissue culture lab/equipment room. Demolition, design/build modification and/or coordination of existing laboratory and utility systems (mechanical, electrical, piping-plumbing, etc). Coordination and installation of a mechanical exhaust system, from a 1st floor kitchen to the roof, prior to removal of an existing mechanical duct riser which is currently passing vertically through the new lab space. Reference document set 16005B. Concrete slab infill and levelling of sub-floor prior to installation of finish flooring. New labs will require new lab furnishings and equipment and will also accommodate installation of existing Owner furnished Contractor installed (OFCI) equipment. Modifications of original steel sash exterior window systems. Temporary construction elevator/lift.
