The selected Contractor shall provide water conservation audits and retrofits on toilets, sinks, coin/card high efficiency operated clothes washers, and showerhead fixtures to qualified multi-family units within the Long Beach Water service area. A map of this service area is attached in Exhibit A. Long Beach Water will not pay for services performed outside of the service area.The Project will replace approximately 1,000 older model toilets with ultra-high efficiency toilet models, 1,000 low flow showerheads, 1,000 kitchen aerators, 1,000 bathroom aerators, and 100 coin/card high efficiency operated clothes washers in multi-family buildings in Long Beach. The selected Contractor will purchase and install ultra-high efficiency toilet options, low flow showerheads, aerators, and coin/card operated high efficiency clothes washers. The Contractor will also dispose of old fixtures and other waste, as appropriate, and recycling them to the greatest extent possible. Q&A due by 04/05/19 at Noon.
