The Trinity River Authority of Texas is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to rehabilitate the Murphy Drive Pump Station Tank 1. The project includes but is not limited to the following; Complete replacement of the exterior coating system including the abrasive blasting and containment system; Complete replacement of the wet interior coating including the surface preparation blasting; Remove and replace the roof access hatch; Remove and replace interior ladder and install new fall protection system; Remove and replace exterior ladder to the ground with new ladder guard with new fall protection system; Remove exterior ladder and fall protection system at overflow pipe; Install new roof railing with new landing for access with swing door; Remove and replace existing roof vent and install a secondary vent; Extend the overflow pipe to the ground with new flap valve; Extend the concrete swale to the new overflow pipe location; Repair the beams and girder with blasting, grinding, and recoating; Remediate the top of the existing roof beams that are welded to the roof plates and removal of any existing welding by grinding/cutting of any welds or any subsequent repairs of either the beam or the roof plates; Repair the roof plate corrosion; Repair column corrosion including any bolt replacement; Apply additional coating or approved material per coating manufacturer recommendation for the low area on the exterior roof; Repair the floor plate corrosion; Remove abandoned instrumentation; Electrical Improvements as identified on drawing; and Instrumentation Improvements as identified on drawing. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
