Notice is hereby given that the City of San José (CITY) is requiring that all General Contractors bidding on the Nitrification Clarifier Rehabilitation Project - Phase 1 (PROJECT), to be undertaken by the CITY, must be pre-qualified before submitting a bid on the PROJECT. It is mandatory that all General Contractors who intend to submit a bid for the PROJECT, fully complete the Pre-qualification Submittal, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the CITY to be on the final pre-qualified bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a General Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. If two or more business entities submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, or expect to submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid.The Pre‐qualification Submittal package can be found under the following classifications: [720‐58] Recovery Pumps and Piping (free Product, Groundwater, Etc.)
