This project proposes the replacement of the NYS Route 28 Bridge over the Esopus Creek between NYS Route 212 and Riseley Road in the Town of Shandaken, Ulster County. The proposed structure will be located on a new alignment downstream from the existing structure allowing traffic to be maintained on the existing structure. This project also includes the replacement and relocation of a large culvert from Route 28 to Route 212, partial removal of an existing Army Corps of Engineers flood control berm, slope stabilization along Route 212 and building demolitions.
