This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued to provide the selection process for General Contractor(s) who will provide on-call construction and repair services for projects up to $60,000 to the City of Morgan Hill. Projects exceeding $60,000 will continue to be separately bid. The City anticipates awarding contractors to approximately three to six general contractors. The selected general contractors will be the prequalified pool of on-call general contractors who are eligible to respond to bid proposals and complete construction and repair work for the City of Morgan Hill for projects.The on-call general contractor construction services contracts will be a two-year term and shall have the option for three (3) consecutive one (1) year extensions under the same terms and conditions. Each contract is anticipated to have a not to exceed cumulative total of $200,000 for the initial two-year term. Q&A due by 02/20/20 at 5PM. Prevailing wages. Bonds required.
