The City of Lawrenceville is requesting bids from licensed and qualified contractors to provide all labor and equipment in performing all work necessary for underground electrical work at various locations throughout the City of Lawrenceville. This is a demand service contract for labor and equipment to supplement the City of Lawrenceville’s Electric Department work force and will be used on an “as needed” basis.Contractor shall: Provide all equipment and tools necessary to perform the work, including but not limited to bucket trucks, derrick trucks, excavators, boring equipment, wire pulling equipment, trucks large enough to lift all loads created by the underground work, barricades, traffic cones and signage. Provide and assure compliance in using protective gear such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, harnesses, and safety shoes to Contractor’s workers and personnel. Erect and maintain adequate barricades, signage, and traffic cones, and safeguard work area to prevent damage to all property and for the safety of employees and other people. Contractor shall secure equipment and materials that are stored temporarily in or around a project site. Clean the area of all debris and trash remaining as a result of the completion of a project; and dispose of such either off-site or as directed by City Representative.
