Improvements include a stormwater management facility, closed storm sewer system, and a new outfall to an existing wetland, which is hydraulically connected to the Whitcomb Bayou. The project is also a Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) Cooperative Funding Initiative Project (Project Number N867), and as a result, a portion of the project will be funded by SWFWMD.
