The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is inviting bids for on-call roadway maintenance services including but not limited to all labor equipment and materials required to perform: installation of asphalt overlay, installation of asphalt skin patches, asphalt grinding, asphalt pulverizing, crack sealing, installation of AC curbs, installation of PCC curb and gutter, installation and compaction of base material, scarifying and compacting of soils alongside roadway shoulder, installation of sand/concrete slurry, adjusting drainage systems, installation of striping and raised pavement markers, and provide additional labor, material and/or equipment from time to time on a time and material basis as requested at various locations throughout the City, as more clearly described in the Contract Documents. This work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximate only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the Director of Public Works. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. The anticipated term of this agreement is 9/1/19 through 6/30/24 with options for renewal of up to three additional years.
