The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is pleased to invite the submission of proposals from professional firms with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the supply and installation of parking, access and revenue control systems (PARCS) to furnish and install a complete parking lot control system for the Bay Avenue Parking Garage and 9th Street Parking Lot. Currently, the Bay Avenue Parking Garage and 9th Street Parking Lot control systems accommodate daily parkers with the utilization of proximity cards and allow for the addition of transient parkers with a pay-inlane computerized pay station in the exit lane. The PARCS contractor is responsible for connecting the lane equipment to the power supply lines and control lines. The entrance and exit lanes in the parking garage will be connected to a facility or differential counter so FULL signs can be automatically activated by the system. The intent of this specification is for the contractor to be able to eventually install a complete parking, access and revenue control system. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
