The project includes milling and hot asphalt resurfacing of the existing pavement to extend the service life of the roadway for 0.90 miles of Walden Avenue from Genesee Street to Sycamore Street. The improvements also include manhole and valve adjustments within overlay area, installation of vehicle presence detector system at the intersection of Genesee and Walden, replacement of vehicle detection loops at the intersection of Sycamore and Genesee, ADA compliant curb ramps, and new reflective pavement markings. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
