The City of Calhoun will receive bids for 2,175 tons of 1.5 – 12.5 mm of asphalt resurfacing. Also included will be 26,500 square yards of variable depth milling of streets within the City of Calhoun until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 18, 2020 at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. It is understood that the quantities shown are approximates only and subject to either increase or decrease. The work and materials shall be in strict and entire conformance with the provisions of this Agreement and the plans prepared by the City and Georgia Department of Transportation and approved by the Chief Engineer or his authorized representative, the original of which are on file at the Georgia State Department of Transportation. Said plans are hereby made part of this project as if fully set forth therein. The project will be constructed in accordance with the standard specifications.
