CID-1200328, Peachtree Corridor Phase IIIThe City of Atlanta's Department of Procurement ("DOP") on behalf of The Department of Public Works ("DPW") and The Buckhead Community Improvement District ("BCID") is seeking qualified contractors to complete a street retrofit connectivity project. The project consists of constructing a typical section with three lanes in each direction consisting of 10-ft inside and outside lanes, 11-ft center lanes divided by a 19-ft raised landscape median (including turn lanes), 5-ft bike lanes, a header curb, 14-17-ft shoulder comprised of a 6-ft landscape strip and 8 to 11ft wide sidewalks. The connectivity project is to be implemented along Peachtree Rd. from Shadowlawn Avenue to Maple Drive. The project will improve connectivity to existing bus stops and the Buckhead MARTA station. Bidders are required to furnish a Bid Guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid amount. Bidders offering alternative Bids shall provide a guaranty for the largest total Bid amount. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
