This project includes the replacement of portions of the existing perimeter security fence at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Approximately 33,000 linear feet of fence will be removed and reconstructed. The new fence will also serve as a wildlife deterrent fence, including an anti-burrow barrier and additional security features. Work also includes limited areas of clearing outside of the security fence. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
