The work is generally described as follows and includes all other appurtenance work required by the plans and specifications: This work generally includes the construction of street improvements consisting of P.C.C. curbs, gutters, median curbs, sidewalks, wheel chair ramps, cold planing of existing A.C. pavement, and placement of A.C. pavement overlay, rubberized A.C. pavement overlay, construction of asphalt rubber and aggregate membrane, installation of irrigation systems and landscaping of median islands and parkways; installation of new traffic signal poles and hardware; and installing pavement markings and painting stripes. Work also includes all items of work not specifically mentioned here but required by the plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions. All work except landscape maintenance shall be completed within One hundred thirty-five (135) working days. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
