The project construction scope intends to make improvements to the Pinebrook Water System by constructing a water main interconnection to the Hyde Park Regional Water System. The expected improvements for this project include: A direct connection to the Hyde Park Regional System via St. Andrews Road through Holt Road or West Holt Road. The main will then extend south down Holt Road to Madison Avenue, and, Madison Avenue to Pinebrook Road. The new main will connect to the existing water distribution of the Pinebrook Water District first via a connection extending from Madison Avenue to the north east side of the Pinebrook system via an emergency road access area. A second connection will be from the intersection of Madison Avenue and Pinebrook Drive by extending the water main along Pinebrook Drive to tie in with the existing water distribution system near the existing water treatment facility. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
