The awarded Bidder(s) shall be responsible for relocating building(s) to a destination preselected by District.The awarded Bidder(s) shall utilize equipment (i.e.winch, gin poles and ratchet jacks) and a method that prevents damage to the building.The building(s) shall be placed on level foundation blocks with the distance between buildings as required by city ordinance. The finished floor clearance of building shall not be higher than 24” above natural ground. The Bidder shall be responsible for obtaining all City of McAllen moving permits. The District will be responsible for the disconnection and re-connection of plumbing, water, electrical, audio/visual, and telephone lines. Bonds required.Davis Bacon Act.The period of the contract resulting from this Bid will be for a term of one (1) year with option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
