King George County is proceeding with the design and construction of a new Courthouse and desires to develop design documents for the renovation and repurposing of the existing Courthouse building to serve as an extension of the County’s Administrative Office Complex. The County intends to relocate the Treasurer, Commissioner of Revenue, Registrar, County Engineer, County Inspector, and Information Technology functions to the renovated and repurposed existing Courts building. It is also likely that other County departments and functions, not identified at this time, will be relocated to the renovated and repurposed building.
