The Houston County School District (herein after referred to as “District”) is requesting proposals to upgrade propane tank as specified within this solicitation. Must remove two (2) existing 1000-gallon propane tanks from property. Provide and install one (1) 18,000-gallon above ground propane tank to accommodate the refueling of propane buses. Must provide all required drawings. Vendor will be responsible to apply for and receive all required permits including but not limited to those from The Office of the State Fire Marshall, Houston County, and the City of Warner Robins. Vendor must provide #57 rock to extend the exiting area to accept the 18,000- gallon tank. Vendor is responsible for freight for replacement and trade-in tanks. Vendor must provide crane for installation of piers and tank. Vendor must provide piers, piping, tank trim and any other needed materials for installation of the 18,000-gallon tank. Vendor must ensure that the finished installation includes emergency shutoff valve station with easily accessible shutoff devices. Vendor must add additional pump to existing infrastructure.
