The project includes sound attenuation improvements for certain residences around San Diego International Airport. The project includes 10 dwelling units located on 10 historic residential properties. Sound attenuation improvements may include, but are not limited to,replacement of windows and exterior doors, finely detailed, field-executed finish carpentry, & improvements to add air conditioning, ventilation and electrical work to support such systems. The work will include the demolition & modification of existing construction to install new windows and doors and, in some cases, may require temporary weatherproof closures. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Solicitation Notice: The Airport Authority’s award of this Contract is conditioned upon Bidder or Offeror satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR§ 26.53 Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
