A. The structural and architectural work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as:1. Demolish existing metal stairs and railing in the lift station electrical building to the basement.2. Sawcut and prep opening for new rooftop HVAC unit.3. Demolish doors, windows, and portions of the wall of the lift station electrical building.4. Demolish other miscellaneous components in the lift station electrical building including but not limited to concrete pads, curbs, grating, etc. 5. Demolish existing ladder at the Final Effluent Pump Station. 6. Provide and install new aluminum stairs and railing in the lift station electrical building to the basement.7. Repair spalled concrete and mortar at both the lift station electrical building and the transfer pump station electrical building. 8. Provide and install new doors and new portions of the wall of the lift station electrical building.9. Provide and install other new miscellaneous components in the lift station electrical building including but not limited to concrete pads, slabs, curbs, grating, etc.10. Paint exterior of both the lift station electrical building and the transfer pump station electrical building and the interior of the lift station electrical building. 11. Provide and install new access stairs and railing at the Final Effluent Pump Station. B. The mechanical work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as:1. Demolish existing rooftop HVAC unit at the lift station electrical building. 2. Demolish existing supply fan and motor at the lift station wet well.3. Provide and install new rooftop HVAC unit at the lift station electrical building. 4. Provide and install new backdraft damper and hood at the lift station wet well.5. Provide and install new discharge piping, valves, and appurtenances for the final effluent pump. The pump and motor are being supplied by the Owner. 6. Install Owner provided Final Effluent Pump No.5 and motor. 7. Provide and install new sole plate and anchor bolts for the new final effluent pump. C. The electrical distribution and controls work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Demolish all the electrical equipment in the lift station electrical building. 2. Provide and install new 480 V panelboard, transformer, and 120 V panelboard at the lift station electrical building along with other miscellaneous control panels. 3. Provide and install two 200 HP, 480V variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the larger lift station pumps.4. Provide and install three 40 HP, 480V VFDs for the smaller lift station pumps. 5. Provide and install new lighting, receptacles and cable tray at the lift station electrical building. 6. Provide and install one 600 HP, 480V VFDs for the new Final Effluent Pump.7. Provide and install all necessary wire and conduit as shown on the Drawings for acomplete and operable system.D. The instrumentation and controls work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as:1. Demolish the existing PLC at the lift station electrical building.2. Demolish miscellaneous instruments and control components at the lift station electrical building.3. Provide and install a new Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC along with a new Operator Interface Terminal (OIT) on the door of the PLC enclosure. 4. Reterminate the existing fiber at the patch panel in the PLC enclosure. 5. Provide all communication cables to make a complete and operable system as shown on the Drawings. 6. Provide and install miscellaneous instruments and control panels as shown on the Drawings. E. Coordinate all construction work with Owner’s operational constraints.Bonds required.Q&A due by 05/21/19 at Noon.
