This project will restore the spillway discharge channel which was severely damaged in Hurricane Matthew and includes bank stabilization and approximately 635 linear feet of stream restoration. Work includes a gabion structure at the spillway, a gabion wall along a portion of the bank, and a series of boulder step pools along the channel. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
