This is a Federal Aid Project that involves the replacement of existing curbing, sidewalk, and landscaping features along both sides of Beekman Avenue between Cortlandt Street and NYS Route 9, including replacement of the existing non-standard traffic signal at N. Washington St. for a distance of approximately 1,300 linear feet. Sidewalk will include new curb ramps and striped crosswalks at all street crossings meeting Americans with Disabilities Act Guidelines (ADAAG) and Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG). This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
