The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to install a Learning Lab Walking Trail for Lenoir Community College (LCC) Horticulture Program. Students in our program will have the ability to test for third party credential, the North Carolina Certified Plant Professional. This test consists of 125 live plants to identify. Our goal is to have as many of those specimens displayed in our learning lab as possible. Each plant on the walking trail will be GPS tagged so that students can test their skills and use the technology to check the accuracy of their identification. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
