Chemung County Public Works Administrative Building, Lower Level Conference Room, 803 Chemung Street, Horseheads, NY 14845.
Work consists of furnishing and installing treated wood entrance platforms, railing, ramps, and stairs. Apply a protective sealer to concrete surfaces. Furnish and place an anti-graffiti protective coating on planter curb walls, retaining walls, bridge structures, barriers or other concrete surfaces. Furnish and install a new ornamental railing. Rehabilitate bridge joint system. Furnish and install waterproofing membrane on the surface. Remove and dispose of the existing fence. Reset brick, block or flagstone sidewalk or driveway. Furnish and install bollards, timber curb, planter back fill mix, trash receptacles and compactor receptacle, prefab metal structures, bicycle rack, boulders, and cameras. Care of newly planted and transplanted plants. Install skateboard deterrents. Alteration of existing utility manholes and vaults. Remove existing street lighting poles. Install complete operable electrical systems. Concrete substructure repairs, partial superstructure removal, structural steel repairs, concrete deck overlay and landscape amenities. Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Bid Bond. Cash will not be accepted as a deposit. Bid deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned promptly upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder.
