The work to be performed under this contract consists of sewer jetting and de-greasing of sewer mains and manholes in the following Carmel Sewer Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. The contractor shall provide sewer jetting and vactor equipment and septic pump trucks sufficient to clean all sewer lines and manholes that exist in the highlighted areas shown on the provided maps. All manholes shall be pumped clear. Grease build up in Sewer Lines and Manholes shall be removed and disposed of by the contractor. Grease or any liquid containing emulsified or melted grease may not be disposed of at any Town of Carmel Sewer Treatment Plant. Any raw sewage pumped if necessary to facilitate the jetting may be disposed of at the head works of one of the Town of Carmel Sewer Plants as directed by the Town of Carmel, provided that such material is free of grit and foreign matter. Contractor shall utilize at the beginning of the work day, only an empty Septic pumping truck. Contractor shall provide sufficient traffic control devices and personnel to facilitate the operations.
