The City of Santa Ana is requesting proposals for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide comprehensive advances metering infrastructure implementation. The implementation includes three components; implementation of an AMI field area network for delivery of billing and interval reads from customer meters, and new metering equipment; Installation services, and Implementation of a meter data management system for the retention and analytic processing of metering information. The way this RFP is constructed will allow the City to consider responses as isolated Proposals, with Proposers either: addressing all parts of the RFP in its entirety with a turnkey solution; or providing one or more partial solutions. For example, a Proposer wishing to propose the entire solution will be able to do so; likewise, a Proposer wishing to propose an AMI network only, or a Proposer wishing to propose installation services only, will be able to do so. As such, the City intends to enter into an agreement with either: a single firm to provide all the described services; or multiple firms, each providing one or multiple parts of the services outlined. The anticipated term of the contract is 48 months. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
