The City of Grantsville is inviting proposals for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to provide of the design, build and installation of a shade structure for the currently installed playground at Hollywood Park. (The playground equipment to be covered can be seen in Attachment "8".) Work is to include the design of a shade structure within the constructed playground area boundaries, as well as the installation of commercial grade shade equipment and equipment footings. Grantsville City (the "City") seeks a high quality, long lasting shade structure system. The design shall confirm to industry best management practices. The chosen bidder/contractor must provide the city with design certification for wind compliance calculated by a licensed engineer, certifying the components, support poles/columns and related elements of the structure providing adequate resistance to the wind loads in the region. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
