Electronic Bid only. Lump Sum project for remodel of Maintenance Office Department of Financial Management (Department), Fleet Services Bureau (Fleet) is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals for a design built to expand and remodel an existing office structure to house (4) four persons comfortably. The new environment shall be similar to that of an automotive dealership service write up area which separates fleet employees from customers and non-fleet employees. The design shall also allow for a comfortable, ergonomic work area for 4 persons and look professional. The Heavy Line Office is inside of the Fleet Services Building, Heavy Line area, located at 2600 Temple Avenue, Long Beach CA 90806. The area is 19 years old and measures approximately 199 square feet. The current enclosure is a concrete-filled cinder block design with electrical and communication lines inside of the walls. All components and modifications must meet all City and State codes, as well as be Title 24 compliant. The Bid Management System will not accept late proposals and no exceptions shall be made. Proposers will receive an e-bid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that their proposal was submitted successfully. The City will only receive those proposals that were transmitted successfully.
