This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued to obtain a contract for Hazardous Waste Packaging, Transportation, and Disposal Services on an ongoing basis and services in the event of a natural disaster (i.e., hurricane, tornado, etc.) for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s (UNCW) Environmental, Health and Safety Department (EH&S). UNCW is seeking a contract with an established EPA-permitted treatment, storage, and disposal contractor who is a DOT (Department of Transportation)-licensed hazardous materials transporter to provide these services in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
