Union County Public Works provides water and wastewater services to various area within Union County, North Carolina. The facilities included in this scope of work are: • Five (5) Water Reclamation Facilities o Twelve Mile Creek – 7.5 MGD o Crooked Creek – 1.9 MGD o Olde Sycamore – 0.15 MGD o Grassy Branch – 0.05 MGD o Tallwood Estates – 0.05 MGD • 53 Wastewater Pump/Lift Stations o Assume each station has 480 service, one generator and one ATS • 8 Water Storage Tank Facilities. o Assume each station has 480 service. • 6 Water Booster Stations o Assume each station has 480 service, one generator and one ATS All of these facilities were designed, installed, and placed in service at various times. Upgrades have occurred throughout the life of each. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
