The assessments will include structural and systems evaluations of each Parking Deck based on visual observations; non-destructive testing; and limited, easily repairable destructive testing, if deemed necessary by the vendor, to provide a complete assessment of the condition of each Parking Deck. In addition to the structural assessment, the assessment of each Parking Deck shall include evaluations of the electrical system(s), fire protection system(s), lighting, elevator(s) and stairwell(s), public safety concerns, signage and labeling, operational system(s), appearance, areas of water intrusion and any other issues of note that are discovered during the assessment. The COR will provide the vendor with all available engineering drawings for each of the Parking Decks to be assessed. The COR will also ensure that the vendor has access to all areas of each Parking Deck that the vendor deems necessary to complete their assessment. The use of any ladders, lifts, platforms or other equipment necessary to reach areas not accessible from ground level is the responsibility of the vendor. It shall also be the responsibility of the vendor to ensure that any vehicle or equipment used in the assessment(s) meets the height limit requirements to access each Downtown Parking Deck. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
