The Port of Houston Authority (“Port Houston”) is seeking a consultant or consulting team to perform construction materials testing (CMT) for a project for the Port Road expansion and drainage at Bayport Container Terminal This project consists of redesigning the existing Barbours Cut Precheck and Entry Gate Facility and adding a new TWIC Gate at the existing Gate 4 location. The major components of work include demolition of existing Precheck and Entry Gate, soil stabilization and cement treated base, new pavement at both the Entry Gate and the TWIC Gate locations, and drilled piers for high mast light poles. Other work to be included consists of: fabrication of canopies, kiosk pedestals and kiosk stairs, construction of buildings, electrical services, drainage and utilities, and fencing.
