The Work is generally described as follows: Work at the Richard Road Repump Facility includes a new main breaker located between the FPL service and the existing service-rated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), replacing Motor Control Centers (MCCs) 100 and 200, replacing the variable frequency drives (VFDs) for High Service Pump Nos. 5 and 6 with new VFDs, and modifying the existing ATS for closed transition operation with remote transfer controls. Work at the Lilac Street Repump Facility includes a new main breaker located between the FPL service and the ATS, and modifying the existing ATS for closed transition operation with remote transfer controls. PLC/wiring modifications will also be conducted to allow the new main breaker to transmit normal/emergency power status to the SCADA system. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
