The work, in general includes but is not limited to, such work as the furnishing and installing of new rooftop- mounted dust collection equipment at the Service & Inspection (S&I) Buildings (aka Blowdown Buildings) at the District’s Richmond, Concord and Hayward Yards. The work also includes removal and disposal of the existing dust collection equipment at each yard; in-situ replacement of portions of the existing ductwork sheet metal in locations that are damaged (dented/cracked) or corroded; furnishing and installing a new water filtration and storage system, including a reinforced concrete pad and curb with pre-fabricated canopy structure above, adjacent to the S&I Buildings at Concord and Hayward Yards; furnishing and installing a new hot water pressure washer at Richmond and Hayward; and designing, and fabricating/wiring and installing new PLCs at the S&I Buildings at Concord and Hayward Yards. Contractor shall also be responsible for testing/commissioning of all equipment/systems installed, training of District employees, O&M documentation, and the compatibility of all components. All as specified in the Contract Specifications and Contract Drawings.
