Notice is hereby given that the County of Wayne will accept bids for the Replacement of the Ridge Road Bridge over Salmon Creek in the Town of Sodus, Wayne County. The work will include, but not be limited to, removal of the existing cast-in-place concrete superstructure and replacement with a three-sided precast concrete structure founded on shallow foundations bearing on bedrock. The bridge will be placed on a skew to align with the stream and medium stone fill will be placed in the vicinity of the bridge abutments for embankment protection. The project includes the removal of an existing water-main carried by the bridge and replacement with a 10” HDPE water-main installed by directional drilling. There will be full-depth pavement reconstruction extending approximately 300 feet within the limits of the project. Box beam guide-rail will be installed. Each Bidder shall include a Bid Bond with its bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the “Instruction To Bidders”.
