Sealed Bids will be received by the Forsyth County Board of Education (the “Owner”) for all labor, materials and services necessary for Safety and Security Upgrades for Forsyth County Schools – Middle & High Schools (the “Project”). Project description: New Construction of security vestibules at 10 existing middle schools and security upgrades at 6 high school entrances. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds.
