Brazoria County Juvenile Justice Department located at 20875 CR 171, Angleton, TX 77515. Scope: The below list outlines a basic summary of the minimum upgrades required. Additional items and tasks may be required to supply Brazoria County with the full intent of this RFP. The awarded vendor shall provide an upgrade to the existing Juvenile Detention Security control system which must integrate with the existing field devices. The existing system is proprietary and past the end of life. The existing intercom control, security camera system control and door controllers cannot be serviced or maintained. The existing analog Bosch equipment is to be replaced with an IP Camera system with NVR/NAS storage to allow minimum 90 days retention of video footage based on 65% motion. The system must have full integration with the Omron SYSMAC PLC or an equivalent, for complete control of the cameras, doors, switch input monitoring and intercoms. The Juvenile Justice Center has two separate buildings involved in this RFP – the Detention building and the Residential building. In addition, the complete solution will include, but not be limited to, the following: 1.1. Remove the existing Bosch analog video system equipment. 1.2. Install a dedicated physical IP camera network (separate/independent of the County’s business network) with 80 cameras, associated network POE switches, etc. RAID storage, 48Tb minimum. 1.3. All necessary software and hardware to interface with the existing door locks, existing Intercoms, and the monitoring of Panic alarms, to include various switch inputs. 1.4. Installation and configuration of the systems Touchscreen Control in the two (2) Control rooms 1.5. Audio recording in six (6) locations inside the Detention facility – (three classrooms, Soft Control, Intake room, and Main Control room). 1.6. Audio recording in two (2) locations inside the Residential facility (classroom and control room). 1.7. Video review stations in the three (3) existing locations. 1.8. Alarm data logging workstation in Detention Control room. 1.9. The ability of either Control room workstation to assume all functionality of either or both facilities. 1.10. Touchscreen Control in each Control room. 1.11. Live video monitoring in each Control room, to include: one (1) single “call-up” monitor to follow Intercom and door activity, and an additional selectable multiple view monitor. Bonds required, Prevailing wages. HUB goals.Q&A due by 05/20/20 at 11Am.
