The work to be done (hereinafter referred to as “Work”) consists of furnishing all materials and equipment, except those specified in the Bid, and performing all labor necessary for the following project (hereinafter referred to as “Project”): Construct the Sewer Extension to North Whitfield Middle School and Patterson Farm Project as shown in the drawings and specifications. North Whitfield Middle School Sewer Extension (Phase 1) project will include the construction of a wastewater packaged lift station (without Wetwell) and a sanitary sewer force main as shown in the drawings. Patterson Farm Sewer Extension (Phase 2) project will include the construction of a wastewater packaged lift station (with Wetwell) and a sanitary sewer force main as shown in the drawings. The Phase 1 packaged lift station (without Wetwell) to be constructed for this project will be located across from the new North Whitfield Middle School near Edwards Park Entrance Rd as shown on the plans. This includes but not limited to installing an 8-inch HDPE force main, approximately 3,600 linear feet in length, and a Jack n Bore under Cleveland Highway. The Phase 2 packaged lift station (with Wetwell) to be constructed for this project will be located in the new Paterson Farm Site near the existing North Whitfield Middle School as shown on the plans. This includes but not limited to installing an 8-inch HDPE force main, approximately 5,400 linear feet in length, and a Jack n Bore under Cleveland Highway. Dalton Utilities will supply the package lift station, HDPE pipe, steel casing, gravel, and combination air valves for the project. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all other materials. : A bid bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A contract performance bond and a payment bond, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required of the successful bidder.
