Work under this contract primarily consists of intersection improvements for County Road 28 and Shortsville Road into a modern roundabout. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control measures. Installation and maintenance of work zone traffic control measures. Water main relocation and replacements including a pressure reducing valve vault relocation. Full-depth pavement reconstruction at the intersection and on its immediate approaches. Installation of curb along the central island, truck apron, splitter islands, and shoulders. Installation of new roadway lighting. Installation of new signs and pavement.Installation of new roadway lighting. Installation of new signs and pavement. Each bid shall include Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid offered by the bidder.
