Electronic bids will be received via Bid Express on behalf of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners. Project consists of repairs of two Silver Comet Trail bridges, one over Nickajack Creek and the other over Noses Creek. Repairs to Bridge 1 - Nickajack Creek Bridge include bridge railing replacement and repair of an undermined footing in Nickajack Creek. This bridge may be closed for up to 7 days between 01/06/2020 and 02/28/2020. Repairs to Bridge 2 - Noses Creek Bridge consist of replacement of the asphalt bridge deck with a concrete bridge deck, installation of a bridge deck drainage system, pile encasements and wooden pile replacements. This bridge may be closed for up to 45 days 01/06/2020 and 02/28/2020. Only one bridge may be closed at a time. The project has a completion date of March 31, 2020. Payment will be made monthly based on approved invoices.
