Procurement Services Conference Room located at 1300 9th Street, Building A, 2nd Floor, St. Cloud, Florida 34769

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a professional design build team to provide all labor, materials and provisions necessary to produce a conceptual design, final design, construction documents, and to construct a new reinforced concrete skate park to be located in the Extreme Sports Complex, 2401 Peghorn Way, St. Cloud, Florida 34769. This facility will provide an environment for skateboarders of all skill levels, from beginners to experts, but with an emphasis on intermediates. Experienced skate park Contractors are being sought to develop a skate park. The process will include public involvement from which those with a local interest will have the opportunity to provide their input into the skate park. Additional meetings, as deemed necessary, will be held with City staff. The Contractor will perform design development and prepare construction documents, obtain required permits and construct the skate park. The design should allow for the skate park to accommodate users of all ages and should provide skating opportunities for skaters of all levels. The proposed skate park should provide a safe environment for the participants while limiting the City’s liability to the greatest reasonable extent. The park should be designed with consideration given to the other amenities in the immediate area. The design concept should be incorporated into the +/-10,000 square foot area identified for the skate park. This project encourages M/WBE participation.
